Winter Menu Week 1

Our winter menus are designed especially for children of all preschool ages and include all food nutrients necessary for a balanced development of their bodies during the colder time of the year. Also, the menu is optimized to the weather changes and combines many fruits and veggies.

 

Monday:

Morning Snack: Cereal with milk and fruits
Lunch (catered by Food for Tots): Lasagna Ricotta Cheese Roll-ups – Spinach Lasagna filled with Ricotta Cheese and covered with Marinara Sauce served with Green Beans and WW Bread. Fresh Seasonal Fruit.
Dinner: Barley porridge with sugar, milk

Tuesday:

Morning Snack: Organic cookies, milk and bananas
Lunch (catered by Food for Tots): Philly Beef Steak Submarine Sandwich – Lean Shaved Beef Steak topped with Swiss Cheese, Onions and Philly Sauce served with a Garden Salad. Fresh Seasonal Fruit.
Dinner: Buckwheat Porridge, sugar

Wednesday:

Morning Snack: Yogurt and crackers
Lunch (catered by Food for Tots): Chicken Meatballs with WG Pasta – Tomato Smothered Chicken Meatballs served with Buttered WG Pasta and Diced Carrots. Fresh Seasonal Fruit.
Dinner: Rice pudding with raisins

Thursday:

Morning Snack: Croissants with cream cheese
Lunch (catered by Food for Tots): Italian Olive Chicken Drumstick with Roasted Potato – Sicilian Olive Chicken Drumstick served with Roasted Potato, Mixed Vegetables and WW Bread. Fresh Seasonal Fruit.
Dinner: Pasta with cheese

Friday:

Morning Snack: Oatmeal porridge and fruits
Lunch (catered by Food for Tots): Pizza Omelet and Sliced Roasted Potatoes – English Muffin covered with Pizza Sauce and topped with a Fresh Egg and Mozzarella Cheese served with Roasted Potatoes and Chefs Salad. Fresh Seasonal Fruit.
Dinner: Yogurt with oatmeal bars

Fresh Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables may vary and include: apple, banana, grapes, pears, strawberries, melons (water, cantaloupe, & musk), plums, nectarines, mango and vegetables may vary due to seasonal availability.

Beverages: We serve homo 3.25% milk, selection of juices, and spring water.

All Lunches are Trans fat-free (except for naturally occurring Trans fats).
